Hot tub & swim spa servicing in Northumberland and the North East
A thorough equipment check. Practical advice on caring for your tub. A deeper clean.
Our annual service complements your regular water care with inspection, function checks and cleaning, for a fully working hot tub. Larger tubs and swim spas are quoted individually.
Based in Blyth, covering the North East and Scottish Borders.

Care beyond the water you can see
Routine water care matters, but there is more to your equipment than the visible surfaces. An annual visit combines an inspection of accessible components with cleaning.
Chemical pipe flush
A system pipe flush helps clean internal pipework before draining.
Drain-down and jet cleaning
Drain the wastewater and remove and clean jets wherever accessible.
Deep clean and disinfection
Clean and disinfect the tub shell and accessible surfaces.
Mechanical and electrical checks
Inspect pipework, diverters and jets, and check mechanical and electrical devices.
Fresh water and function checks
Refill with clean water and function-test equipment such as pumps and the heater.
Seals, cover care and advice
Seal replacement where required and vinyl cover cleaning and protection, subject to suitability and any applicable charges. Ask us to confirm what applies to your equipment.
We also offer guidance on equipment use, products and ongoing care. The scope depends on your tub’s age, condition and access.

An expert look at your equipment
Clean more thoroughly
An annual visit gives the pipework, shell and accessible fittings attention beyond day-to-day surface cleaning.
Raise concerns early
Inspection can identify signs of wear or developing concerns. We can explain any findings and discuss whether further assessment or repair is needed.
Understand ongoing care
Use the visit to ask questions about your equipment and care routine. Servicing complements regular water testing, conditioning and filter care.

Help us make the most of your visit
Good access and the right supplies allow the engineer to carry out cleaning and checks efficiently.
Provide access to side panels
Remove obstructing decking in advance. Tell us about recessed installations and allow enough space to work and remove components.
Have water and electricity ready
Provide a working water source and a safe, working outdoor electrical socket nearby. Turn on any required water valves before the visit.
Leave the tub filled
Ensure an adequate water level, preferably heated to at least 25°C, as requested for the service visit. Tell us about significant water contamination beforehand.
Keep the route and work area clear
Secure pets, keep children away from work and remove animal waste. Let us know about any access concerns before the appointment.
Missing supplies or restricted access may delay the work, require another visit and lead to extra charges.
Frequently asked questions
How long does an annual service take?
Typically three to five hours, depending on equipment size, water capacity and water pressure.
Is an annual service the same as a repair?
No. The annual service is for functioning equipment. If your tub leaks, trips the supply or shows recurring errors, tell us before booking. Repairs are charged separately.
Do you service large hot tubs and swim spas?
Yes. Share the make, model, size and filter details so we can discuss the equipment and provide an individual quote.
Should I drain the tub before you arrive?
Please leave an adequate water level, preferably warmed to at least 25°C, unless we give you different instructions. The service includes pipe flushing and drain-down.
What if the water is heavily contaminated?
Tell us before your appointment. Significant contamination can lengthen the work and needs to be considered when planning the visit.
Does servicing replace regular water care?
No. Continue the water testing, conditioning and filter care specified for your equipment. An annual visit provides additional cleaning and checks.
Are seals and cover treatment included for every tub?
Suitability depends on the equipment and condition. Ask us to confirm seal replacement, cover treatment and any associated costs when discussing your service.
